I love the winter and I love to showcase these two love birds. Addionally, hot cocoa is one of the little things in life that get me excited. Well I have to admit, I have a long list of little things that I get excited about, but hot cocoa is one of them! Bundle up with your cutie(Sweetheart, kiddos, family, friend, dogs, or just your roommates) in the Colorado winter. Enjoy the moments indoors and be mindful of the connections you have with others to create your memories for a lifetime.

Fellas, this makes a great surprise gift, especially if you got your lady a camera this past Christmas!

*This course is NOT to learn how to become a photographer, start a photography business, and will NOT teach you how to use the manual or advanced settings on your camera.

I love dogs! I have two of my own and they steal my heart. Our animals are family members in our households. Most people would not think to get photography of their dogs until it is too late. I cherish life’s moments and see photography as a visual representation of a moment in time for us to remember. Please take a moments to pet your animals today and take a moment to enjoy the smiles they bring you.

The Furry Friends Mini Session was a hit! I recruited my husband to help me with this photo session because I knew that being behind the camera and taming a few puppies, was a multitasking job that I couldn’t tackle. It was a fabulous overcast day, which is a photographers dream! As each dog arrived at the shoot, the owners received their goodie bags filled with coupons, organic treats, all natural dog bones, and a squeak toy.  The dogs knew that behind that tissue paper was a treat, so they tore into the tissue paper and trampled over the lovely bag. I guess the dogs didn’t care as much about presentation as us humans.

Did you miss this mini session, well then sign up for updates on the blog or Facebook and stay tuned for the next themed mini session held by Lori J Photography. I picked a few of my favorite images. Enjoy!

I was interviewed by and featured on the website about my photography and my business. This is a chance for you to get to know about me and my work. So, if you like reading, head on over to this link!

Lets face it, I take pictures all the time and I am also my own worst critic. Plus, my friends and family are too biased to give an honest opinion about my work. As a person interested in research, I decided to apply that technique to my photography business. Because I really want to know and truly card about my clients experience.

In order to make sure I am doing my absolute best, I want to hear from all of you. I just sent out a survey for 2012 shoots done thus far, I know, I know, it’s November. What better time for me to take advantage of off peak time and get some feedback. I also want to feature my clients favorite photos on my website. So please feel free to post, email, or call with your favorite photo. I would love to hear from you.

Enjoy the chili day in Denver.

My husband and I got the pleasure of getting a flat Stanley in the mail from his nephew. We were asked to take it along in our travels. During this time we visited Florida, Las Vegas and many other places around Denver. We had a great time stuffing Stanley in our wallet and updating his class on where Stanley had visited. During our travels, our friends were curious as to why we had a paper person we kept taking pictures with. It became a fun thing on the trips to remember to get Stanley out and let him enjoy the fun. Needless to say, our paper friend became part of our fun. I would suggest others enjoy this cute little project. Enjoy a few pics from our time with Flat Stanley.
